Bunnies!

I really love bunnies and I had lots of fun scrapping this page:

This is the first page I do repeating the whole cluster over and over.. it's a trend I've been seeing for some time in the galleries and wanted to try it myself. I quite like it for this page!

I {heart} reindeer

Here's the page I promised I would post yesterday, but didn't have time to. I love how it turned out! I made it for an Everyday Magic challenge at ScrapMatters, about our collections.

It's only Tuesday, but I'm way behind with everything already!!! This is certainly one of those days I wished I didn't have to work and could scrap all day! ;) (wait, are there any other kind of days?? :-P)

$2 Tuesday

It's a rainy day here, so a sale is just what I need to brighten up! And Mari's store has just that: a $2 sale on 5 products, with savings up to 67%!! Check it out here!

And here's one of my favorite kits of Mari of all time, for sale for just 2 bucks today!

Don't you just love $2 Tuesdays? ;)

GSO :)

Wow, it's hard to believe, but yet another weekend has flown by super fast.. This was a quiet but very nice weekend. It was also quite productive from the scrapping point of view - not quantitatively (I scrapped a mere 3 pages), but surely qualitatively, since this page that I did for the scraplift challenge at the DigiChick earnt me another gallery standout! ;)

OK, seriously, I talked DH into going to this air show 2 months ago (well he was all for it of course, since he loves planes, but I brought it up!!) because I had this gorgeous mini hit by Elise's Pieces Designs, and I finally had some time to scrap with it! It's really beautiful!
I also did this page last night:

The third page I did was for a challenge that's about to go live at ScrapMatters, so I'll post it later. ;)

Mac n Cheese

Amy Sumrall has teamed up with Valorie Wibbens (the latest addition at the LilyPad!) to create a cheesy, super fun kit, Mac n Cheese:

It's really a versatile kit and I found it so romantic!! Here's the page I was inspired to scrap (finally putting some of the hundreds of food pics I shoot to good use! ;) ):

I have quite a busy day ahead, but I'm really glad it's Friday!! The weekend is near and I cannot wait to go out and shoot some pictures for my photography class. :)
Last night DH and I went to see a Cirque du Soleil show and it was phenomenal!!!!!! Too bad that no pictures are allowed, but I still want to scrap 1 or 2 pages to record the experience. I'll have to do some searching for what elements to use!

10 Years!

As you may know if you're a regular reader of this blog, a little over a month ago DH and I celebrated out 10th dating anniversary. For the occasion, I worked on a little hybrid project and I can finally share it here, now that it's posted as a tutorial on the ScrapMatters blog too! ;)

10 years is quite a long time, and I thought it would be neat to create a mini album with a page for each year we spent together. I tried to get a picture taken in summer, around our anniversary date, but I have to tell you, some years it was hard to find a picture of the two of us together at all! Luckily, this will never happen again, because since I started scrapbooking I've always made sure to take plenty of pictures of us. ;)

Anyway, here's my little album: it's tiny and it turned out very pretty! :D

I kept the pages very simple: most of the space is taken up by our picture, plus I added a date stamp that bears the year and the anniversary number.

It's $2 Tuesday and Mari Koegelenberg has SEVEN products for sale! Wanna see 2 of my favorites ever? OK, here we go! ;)

I just love this kit, Happiness. The bright colors always make me so happy!

And there's another kit of Mari's I really love, the sweetest kit ever, Hooty Toot:

Girls Rule and Boys R Cool

Amy has 2 new very pretty kits in the shop, one for girls:

and one for boys:

I played with both (obviously doing neither girlish nor boyish LOs - these kits are so versatile!), and here's a page from our picnic on the lake, on Saturday, using the boy kit:

I also made a birthday card for my grandmother using the girl kit:

You can also pick up the kits as a bundle and save some $$$!

OK, I played some more with Amy and Lauren's Sweet Little Claire today (see previous post). I really love this kit!

Sweet Little Kit

I got to play with one of Amy and Lauren's new kits after the opening of the new store at Polka Dot Plum, and I'm in love!!!
Now, tell me, what's not to love in this gorgeous, gorgeous kit?

I started playing with it last night and came up with this page

I'd love to scrap with it some more (because you can easily scrap 4 pages out of this kit without re-using the same stuff! It's that big!) but I had an eye check today that left me with little computer time - my eyes are way too sensitive to light to scrap tonight - blah!

Sweet Treat

Last week I was lucky enough to win this gorgeous prize, so I had to scrap a picture! ;)

Getting Serious

I played with Jennifer Barrette's latest kit the other day, Autumn Blush:

I just love the color combination, and the owl is so cute! ;)
I used it for a non-autumn page, but the weather here is starting to feel like fall.. I've had to break out my long-sleeved shirts and some sweaters too!

Yep, I am loving the photography course and I feel like I'm learning a lot, even though I've only started it this week! ;)

$2 Tuesday is back at the Digichick, and Mari Koegelenberg has 6 products for sale. You can save up to 71%!!!

I'll just show you one that is perfect now that fall is approaching, Apple Orchard:

Isn't is gorgeous? And it's $2 today only! Make sure you check out all of Mari's $2 products here!

Weeks 36 and 37

Yes, I'm all caught up with my Project 365, and here are the last 2 weeks:

I haven't done July yet, but at least I got last month's done.. ;)
Finally, a page that isn't related to P365, but I still wanted to show off:

I started my photography course, and yesterday I shot in full manual for the first time! :D (the only 2 other occasions I used Manual was for fireworks, to use the bulb function, so it didn't really count.. ;) ) I'm excited to learn how to use my camera properly!

Warning: Long Post! :)

I haven't blogged in a few days so I have quite a few pages to show off. :)

First off, I finally started scrapping the pictures from the baseball game we went to see almost 3 weeks ago. Of course I used the perfect kit for baseball pictures, Home Run Derby by Haynay Designs:

and here's the first 2 pages I did:

I have a few more good pictures but I haven't scrapped them yet.
But since the gorgeous new kits that are coming out at ScrapMatters make me want to pull out old pictures, instead of catching up with scrapping the latest pictures (at least those taken since I started digi-scrapping!), I seriously doubt I will ever catch up! :D For example, Chelle's Creations' latest kit, History Lessons, made me want to pull out some pictures from 2007:

This kit is just fantastic! Perfect for any US historic site, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Boston pictures.. And of course I had some Boston pictures and a few good stories to tell about that trip:

I made 2 matching pages using Denise's gorgeous templates:

I also scrapped a page for the latest My Story Matters challenge. This one is about the music we were into in middle school. The memories that this challenge brought back! I had completely forgotten about this teacher who let us listen to music while we worked on our technical design projects! So, once again, if you aren't doing these challenges already, you have to start: it's a great way to preserve all those memories from your childhood/youth!

Finally, I made a page with 3 products by one of September's guest designers, Molly of DeCrow Designs. She has a new gorgeous set of templates

and a great autumn kit:

and here's the page I used them for:

Wow, this turned out to be a really long post! ;)
That's it for now, but on a personal note, I want to add that my fantastic DH let me sign up for an online photography class, because I really want to step up my photography skills! So I'm having my Christmas gift early this year! :D

Back to School

I went back to school last week, meaning that my classes started, but I don't really have any kids' pictures to scrap with back to school kits. But when I saw Mari's new collab with Mel Wilson, I knew immediately I wanted to play with it!
This collection is simply HUGE, including not only a fantastic kit, but also a bunch of easy and adorable hybrid projects!

I used it to make two bookmarks for my husband and they turned out so cute!

This new release is 20% off today only, but if you buy the whole collection you can save 55%!!!! so check it out, and check out Mari's store if you're interested in buying just a portion of it!

Ready for Fall

When I saw the Halloween merchandise in stores a couple of weeks ago, I was kind of shocked because it seemed way too early to think about that.. But when I saw Chelle's new kit at ScrapMatters, I just couldn't wait to start playing with it!! I can't wait to take some Halloween pictures to scrap with it! ;)

It's such an adorable kit, I feel I'm totally ready for fall! ;)
In the meantime, since DH loves crows, I made him a bookmark with this cute crow:

I also have a page from last week to show, from the Past Matters challenge.

Feels Good

I played catching up with my Project 365 this weekend and it feels good to be *almost* caught up! I'm working on last week now.

So here's weeks 34 and 35:

More Softness

I have two more pages to show using Bree's latest kits, the first one is using her versatile Basic Instincts:

and the other uses Softest Touch:

I'm in love with these 2 kits, especially with that glitter!!
