Hello hello! I'll keep this short and sweet because Christmas is only 1 week away (eek!) and I'm running around like crazy lately (but having a blast)! :) I have two pages to share made with the new Mixed Media Monthly collection from The Lilypad - I had to grab it right away even though I am plagued with a spotty internet connection at the moment, so it was a pain to download - but so worth it!!
The colors are so pretty! And the alpha stamp is really cool.
Have a great Christmas week!

Christmas Spirit
This year December sprung onto me, and between trips and craziness at work, I wasn't ready for it. But finally, I am feeling the Christmas spirit! Christmas music is playing loud on this December weekend, and I have all my Christmas shopping done. Yay!
I have some pages to share made with this week's new releases at The Lilypad, which are 20% off through the weekend.
These 2 pages are made to coordinate since they are part of the same story / Shopping trip.
And finally, a page made using Dawn Inskip's gorgeous illustrations!
Have a great weekend!

December Pages
I have been scarce lately... but I have a good reason: I got to spend a week in Hawaii accompanying my husband - it was our first time there, and we absolutely loved it! The weather was just perfect! And now that I am back, I have lots of photos to scrap. :)
I used this week's 50% off products at The Lilypad (on sale through Wednesday), as well as this month's BYOC collection that was released while I was away.
Not only did I get to spend a week in Hawaii, but I also got to meet up with some online friends who live there - it was awesome!! It is so nice to have some crafty friends, if only they didn't live so far away!
And since we are now well into December, of course I had to scrap a page about our Elf and his two dear friends. :)
Have a great rest of the week!

December Kits at Studio Calico: Cypress Grove
Hello and happy December! For the 12th month in a row, I am here on the first of the month to share a page made with the new digital releases from Studio Calico. Kits go for sale at noon EST for subscribers, and 3 PM EST for everyone else.
I used the icons on a card from the Christmas Bingo set, recolored it, and punched out the circles. Then I built a Christmas tree with them. The rest of my page comes from my stash, including some leftover bits of paper from Lollipop Guild (the Dec. 2015 scrapbook kit) and Canyonlands (Nov. 2015).
I love how it turned out!
Decorating the tree was so much fun!

Memory Pockets Monthly: Wonder - at The Lilypad
Hello hello! There's only one month left to Christmas, and most of my scrap pages now are devoted to the holidays, past and current. I used the new products from The Lilypad (20% off this weekend) and had lots of fun making these pages!
Do you have an Elf on the Shelf in your family? We do and love this tradition, and we also have a reindeer and, as of this year, a St. Bernard. :)
The Memory Pockets Monthly: WONDER collection is a perfect fit for my style! I cannot wait to print out the journaling cards to use in my Project Life album! In the meantime, I made some digital pages.
Brrrr indeed! It's gotten cold all of a sudden and winter has most definitely arrived!
This page was so fun to make! I was inspired by all the circles in one of the cards in the Memory Pockets Monthly: WONDER collection to make this page. I love how it turned out!

Christmas Tags
I started working on my Christmas cards this weekend, in fact I started with Christmas tags and I made over 20! I used an adorable stamp set and coordinating dies by Papertrey Ink called Winter Wishes.
I stamped the animals with black ink, while I used red and green for their clothing. I watercolored the fox and penguin, and then added some sparkle using Stickles. Here's a look at the details while the glitter glue was still drying out.
Now, on to Christmas cards!

Document Your December
Hello hello! I am so happy to share with you the pages I made with the new Document Your December products that were released today at The Lilypad! I seriously couldn't stop creating this week! I took out all my photos from last year that I hadn't scrapped (except for my December Daily album). And everything is 30% off this weekend!
Do you have an Elf on the Shelf? We do and it's such a lovely tradition!
Last year I bought a selfie stick and it was perfect to take this picture! :)
I just love these brushes and illustrations!
This page is about one of our holiday traditions.
I love all the pages I made with the DYD, but this one might just be my favorite! The papers are so good! I printed some out to use in my December Daily album too.
I love how this looks like it's an open album! These are printables for your planner but here I just used them as an extra layer on my page - so fun!
I'm so excited also to be using these products in my hybrid December Daily album for this year!! I'll be sharing that in December here on the blog.

Day in the Life 2016
Hello and happy almost Wednesday! It's time for the weekly 50% sale at The Lilypad and this week I had fun!! I documented my Day in the Life (from a couple of weeks ago) and I love the result!
I don't often participate in Ali Edwards's Day in the Life, but this time I happened to have a number of photos for the day, so I went for it. :) This page was totally inspired by the background paper, which I used as a guide for photo placement.
Have a great rest of the week! And get ready for some Christmas goodness coming on Friday!!
ETA: this page was featured on the Gallery Standouts (GSO) blog today.

November BYOC at The Lilypad
Aaaaah, Friday finally. And I am SO excited about this Friday, because it's the first Friday of the month, so the new BYOC (Build Your Own Collection) is for sale at The Lilypad. And it's such a good one!! I seriously couldn't stop creating with it! Here's what I made with it.
The template I used on this page is phenomenal. I love how this looks like a journal laying on my table!
This background paper and painted elements are absolutely stunning!
On this page I used a really cool template and clipped some papers to the leaves. So fun!
Another page with the notebook templates... and more fabulous papers! This page is for the 30 Days of Gratitude challenge, I combined the first 2 topics here.

First Snow
Hello and happy Wednesday! I had fun using some of the items that are 50% off through today at The Lilypad! We got our first snow of the season last week. Only a dusting, which appeared overnight. But it stuck to the ground for a few hours, so it totally counts as first snow of the season.
Have a great rest of the week!

Studio Calico November Kits: Sonnet
Hello and happy November! The Sonnet kits go for sale today at Studio Calico, and I got a head start using some of the digital products for this month.
This is an 8.5"x11" hybrid page. I used the 12"x12" Sonnet digital papers and the Sonnet 6"x8" digital stamp on the background, which was printed on a piece of cardstock.
Then I added some embellishments from my stash - wood veneer letters, chipboard stars and sequins.
Also... did you hear about the latest stamp subscription from Studio Calico? It's a 6"x8" stamp set.
You can subscribe here.
It's a really nice set, I see many used for the numbers - birthdays, milestones, year in review (like how I used it for the pumpkin patch, but with some photos that recap your year)...
Have a good start of the month!! Only 2 months left to wrap up 2016!

Boo!
Hello hello! I spent most of my free time this weekend catching up on my Project Life album (I am currently 9 weeks behind), but tonight I sat down to play with creashens' latest kit - and it's 50% off right now! It's called Boo but in fact it is very versatile, and I used it for this not-at-all-spooky page. :)

So fun! I went to town with the pretty shades of orange and pink. :) Have a great start of the week!

Sunday Sketch at Studio Calico
Hello and happy Sunday! I'm happy to share a page I made for this week's Sketch Challenge on the Studio Calico blog.
It's a scrapbook page, but I made it entirely using Documenter kits, mainly the Story Board Documenter kit.
I didn't have a use for the 4"x6" card with the lips that comes in the kit, but I challenged myself to use it. So I cut it up with some circle punches.
I added some plastic embellishments from the Pool Party Documenter kit.
The gold alpha and the navy phrases with gold foil from the Story Board Documenter kit are fabulous!
I hope you'll play along!

Memory Pockets Monthly from The Lilypad
Hello and happy Friday! I am SO glad I was able to fit in a quick stop at the pumpkin patch earlier in the week, since it's really gotten cold and wet (and snowy even!) around here, and I'd rather stay inside now. :)
And I am so happy it's time for the latest Memory Pockets Monthly collection, because it worked perfectly with my photos!

Hawaii
I've never been to Hawaii, but when Sakuralala came out with this 365: Hawai'i stamp set, I dug out some old photos from my dad from the '70s just so I could use it. :) It's just so cute! And I couldn't believe how well the stamps matched these old photos.
I paired the stamps with the Studio Calico Pool Party scrapbook kit.
I stamped the islands directly on the background with blue ink.
I also stamped a few of the images on some blue labels with black ink.
I added some die cuts by Amy Tangerine to add a pop of color and tie everything together.
And since today we got our first snow of the season, I thought it was fitting to immerse myself in this island weather for a while. :)

Halloween Bash at The Lilypad
Hello! I'm not especially a fan of Halloween, having grown up in a country where we don't celebrate it, but since living in the US it's something you really cannot escape. :) I sure don't mind receiving trick-or-treaters, and watching scary movies is always fun. But there's yet another source of fun this time of year: the Halloween Bash at The Lilypad, which includes a 31% sale off Halloween products, games, and challenges! I played along in a couple of them, and made this page:

Sakuralala Shop Reopened!
Hello hello! I haven't been posting any projects I've made lately using Sakuralala stamps because the shop has been closed for renovation, but it is now back online and full of new products!
I find these stamps to be the best for traveler's notebooks (TN) and planners, I know I wouldn't be able to document using TNs without them!
Here are some recent weekly TN spreads I made using the Sakuralala stamps.
I LOVE combining different stamp sets to document my daily life. Here I used the new 365: My Town and "Hello, Small Things! - Say Cheese" sets.
I combined them with these sets that I use all the time: 365: Daily, 365: Emotions, 365: Nippon, 365: Food, 365: Activity, 365: Me Time, 365: Fukuro.
Here you can see some images from the 365: My Town and "Hello, Small Things! - Say Cheese" sets.
And in this spread I used the new YEARS - AUTUMN stamp set and the Hello, Small Things! - Autumn Home.
I also used the 365: Emotions, 365: Food, 365: Activity, 365: Hikari, 365: Aki and 365: Family and Friends.
These YEARS stamps are so much fun to use since they have several images that can be combined together.
Tip: since clear stamps are very flexible, you can bend the stem of the flower to give it different shapes.
This deer from the Hello, Small Things! - Autumn Home stamp set is my favorite!
Have a great end of the weekend! :)
