Seriously.. adorable! And I felt it was *made* for me to scrap this photo.. :)

So fun!

Grateful Heart

Speaking of DSD sales... did you check out what's going on at Digital Design Essentials?? Everything is 40% off, and there is a gorgeous new collection called Grateful Heart that is just a steal! Grab it by Friday before it's gone!

Here's my first page with it. I loved all the pretty embellishments, so I covered my page with these little bits and pieces.

Have a great week!

Gina's eye for design is incredible, and I never get tired of scrapping with her gorgeous creations. This deal is too good to pass!

Also, make sure to check out the Halloween release.. it's gorgeous! I won't be celebrating Halloween this year, but I still wanted to use this gorgeous collection.

December!

Wow, I cannot believe that December is almost gone! I have done very little craft-wise this month, because of a two and a half week trip back home for Christmas. The only thing I did was scrap 4 pages with the new December kit by Gina Marie Huff. I scrapped the first in the airport waiting for our connection, then did 3 more pages one of the first days of my trip. :) This collection was perfect to scrap some of my December pictures! Here's the new goodies Gina put together:

For an alpha junkie like me, these alphas are heaven!!

And here are my pages:

I had hoped to have more free time during my trip (I was planning to take detailed pictures of my December Daily album... but I haven't been able to do that, so that will have to wait until I catch up with other things now that I'm back home!). But of course I'm not complaining, it was good to see friends and family! I love this last picture of my parents & me. :)

Sweet & Simple September

Gina Marie Huff has the new Sweet and Simple kit for September in her store at Weeds and Wildflowers, and I'm completely in love with it!!

The colors are sooooo pretty! I love all the gray with pops of pink, blue and green. So inspiring!
And the alphas and wordart... to die for!!

Here's what I scrapped with it:

Yeah, it's been a rough few weeks and I just needed to vent. Scrapping is great therapy! :)
Then I made another page about my mom's visit back in May - I wonder if I will ever finish scrapping those pictures! ;)

After spending a week in sunny but cool San Diego (and I never would thought I'd be saying this, but I miss that weather very much!) for a conference, I came back home to find that August is already here. And this means the new Sweet and Simple kit by Gina Marie Huff is in the store! And it's absolutely gorgeous!!! Have a look:

I scrapped 2 pages (and a half... will finish that soon! ;) ) last night, I was on a roll - it's so easy to scrap with such a lovely kit! I started with some recent pictures:

I didn't bring my fancy camera to San Diego, but I did have my tiny point and shoot. :) I have more pictures to scrap, especially from my trip to the zoo! ;)
Then when I came back, I spent a short weekend away with DH - very nice indeed - and here's the first page:

That's it for now, but expect to see more soon. I hope to have something hybrid-y to show you soon! :)

Sweet & Simple kit

This month's Sweet and Simple kit by Gina Marie Huff was put in the store late, but let me tell you: it was worth the wait! It is so huge and fabulous!

I used it to start scrapping my mom's visit, and I really love how these pages have turned out! ;)

Yes, we has snow on Mother's Day! It was only a dusting. We had really poor weather when my mom was here, it was pretty cold! Oh well, we had a great time anyway! :)
I have a lot more pictures to scrap about her visit, so be prepared to see them soon! :)

New Month..

A new month has started, and this means there's a new Sweet & Simple kit by Gina Marie Huff at the Weeds & Wildflowers store!

I squeezed in some time in this crazy week (I handed in my take home midterm today, one day early, because I was so done with it!) and did two pages with this fabulous kit.

Yeah... guess what? DH wasn't much in the mood for our monthly photo shoot.. Well, at least I got a half decent shot anyway. And before that, I convinced him to pose for a fun shot with his Snuggie. ;) I already scrapped that, but I'll have to wait till Friday to show you that, though. :)

My Best Friend

Gina Marie Huff has a new page kit at Weeds & Wildflowers, My Best Friend:

It's such a lovely kit! And there's also a fantastic alpha:

and a girly add-on:

I made 2 matching autumn pages with the kit:

and a card with all three products:

So pretty! And they're 20% off all weekend!
