Hard to believe January has come to an end already! Here are the cards from the past couple of weeks:
You can see the Week 4 card here.

Moving forward, I have decided I will no longer "force" my husband to pose for pictures. My Project 52 Cards continues (we both enjoy it too much to stop! ;)), but I won't have the weekly photos here on the blog.
After the excitement of a car accident I was involved in yesterday (not fun, I tell you! - but no major damage and no injuries, so at least that's good), I am hoping for a more quiet rest of the week. I do have a busy schedule, though, and a very long list of things I want to scrap with this week! The February BYOC is coming out this Friday at The Lilypad and it's absolutely delicious! In the meantime, make sure to stop by tomorrow for a huge collab.

Project 52 Cards - Another Year Begins
After completing my Project 52 Cards successfully in 2011 (I gave DH a card made by me every week of the year, and have pictures to prove it! ;) ), I am continuing in 2012 as well. Here are the first 3 weeks' worth of photos.
You can see the Week 1 card here. (I am counting Jan. 1 as one week in this case, unlike what I'm doing in my Project Life)
You can see the Week 2 card here.

Happy Monday everyone! I haven't finished my Week 2 of my Project Life yet - still have to print a couple photos for Saturday&Sunday, but it shouldn't take long. :) So look for it tomorrow!

Project 52 Cards - Year 1 Completed!
When I began this project in January of this year, I wasn't quite sure I would bring it to completion, but it has been surprisingly easy to do it, in fact. For the whole of 2011, I have made and given a card to DH every single week. The toughest part was convincing him to pose for the pictures! :) Here are the final 2 weeks.
You can see the Week 51 card here.
You can see the Week 52 card here (if you dare). (Incidentally, this photo depicts how tough it is to get DH to cooperate for pictures - on this occasion, I couldn't get him to move to a better lighting position, so that's all I got. I think it is quite fitting that I got a bad photo for the botched card. ;) )
I am planning to continue this project in 2012 as well. I know DH looks forward to my weekly cards now, even though he doesn't let it on. :) My New Year's card is ready to go! ;)

10 Days to Christmas!
Only 10 days to Christmas! I wish I could slow down this magical time of the year... There are so many things I'd like to do before Christmas! I am 95% caught up with my December Daily album (days 1-14 are done, except for journaling on a couple of pages and a couple of bits that I want to cut out with my Silhouette), but I haven't had time to take pictures yet. I hope to get to that this Saturday. I am loving the smaller format of the album this year, but I am sad I haven't had time to experiment with new techniques. Oh well, it's still quite pretty in my eyes. ;) I am leaving lots of space to photos, which makes it easy to put the album together. In the meantime, let me share the past 3 weeks of Project 52 Cards. Only 3 more weeks to go, I am really proud of myself for sticking to this project. :)

Low on Cards!
I haven't made cards in a few weeks, so on Sunday I had to make a new one to give to DH for my P52 Cards. :)
You can see the Week 46 card here.
And now I'd better get working on a card for this week! But it's tough because I seem to be doing mostly Christmas stuff lately so I need to switch gears. :)

End of Year Projects
As the end of the year approaches, I have 1,000 ideas for projects, but so little time to make them happen! I am devoting most of my time to finishing my December Daily from last year. I'm actually enjoying editing all the photos, thanks to RadLab - I'm still using the free trial but it's expiring soon and I think I will cave in and buy it. It has really made editing more fun and easier for me, so it's worth it. I have not been in a hybrid mood at all lately, but I need to get some cards done because my stash is low and I need a card for this week for my Project 52 Cards! Here are the past couple of weeks' photos.
You can see the Week 44 card here.
You can see the Week 45 card here.
I am still undecided whether to do December Daily this year or not. I do not have the energy for doing a full hybrid album like I did last year, when I put my Silhouette to good use :), but on the plus side I think I'd have more chances of completing it sooner this year, since we won't be traveling.
I have also decided to do Project Life. It's a P365 concept, but with a physical album - I love the idea of having a place to store all the little bits and pieces. I'm a bit worried about keeping up with the photo printing, but I am really hoping to make it work for me. I might start it in December, if I skip the Dec. Daily this year, or wait till January when things calm down.
On the digital side, I am still trying to get my mom's last visit's album finished, but still have a ways to go. I have about 45 pages done and I think I need at least 10 more. I really want to finish it before she arrives, but that leaves me only 2 weeks, and adding that to the December Daily makes it unrealistic for me to get it done. But I'll try my best!

Half Year
We're halfway through 2011, more or less, and my P52 Cards is still going strong. Here's the past few weeks' worth of photos.

Sorry for the weird colors on this picture. :/ You can see the Week 25 card here.

As you can see from the location of the past few pictures, we've been spending some time on the deck. :) It's a good summer!
My stash of cards is almost depleted! :) I have to get back making more. I do have one almost done for this week, though, so I'm good. ;)

Almost There
I'm excited for the weekend to get here, or actually even just Friday, because I have quite a few pages to share with new releases. ;) In the meantime, here are the past couple of weeks for my Project 52 Cards. Two weeks ago DH and I celebrated our wedding anniversary:
You can see the Week 22 card here.
Last week I gave him the latest card I'd made. It's actually a postcard and not a card (meaning that it doesn't open up) because I used a scrap of paper to print it out, and I quite like this format! DH said he liked it to (that's a first!), so I might be doing more.
You can see the Week 23 card here.
I have a TON of pages to share tomorrow, so make sure you stop by! ;)

iNSD and Other Designer News
With all the excitement for my mother's visit, I forgot to post last week's Project 52 Cards picture:
You can see the Week 18 card here.
This isn't the best time of the year to have your mom come visit, with iNSD and all the fun activities in the digital scrapbooking world... Of course I am delighted that my mom is here and don't regret a thing, so I'll have to sit out on all of the digi fun and catch up later. It has only been 6 days since I made the last few cards (one is in the post below, and watch out for the other two in the next couple of days ;) ), but I am itching to create already! :) But in the meantime I can show you all the goodies my fabulous designers have created. Mari Koegelenberg has an amazing new kit out today:
I seriously cannot wait to scrap with it!!!!! It has the right combination of vintage/classic feel, gorgeous patterns and bright colors: right up my alley! She also has a coordinating grab bag:
It is such an amazing deal! Check out the previews in the store to see what's included. Mari's papers are so gorgeous for hybrid too, with rich textures and pretty patterns. I can't wait to use these products! :)
I am also very excited to tell you that Brianna Cox of Scrap'It Designs is back to designing after a break. She was the first designer who picked me as a CT member and I can't wait to see what she creates in the next few months! She has already started with this gorgeous new kit:
It is so pretty! I see myself making a few crazy clustering pages with this kit. :) AND, there's more: Bree is having a CT call:
She is so sweet and being on her team is lots of fun, so do apply! I will be back tomorrow to show you some more iNSD products and drool a bit. ;)

Surviving Easter
It has been a tiring weekend! First getting the house and food ready for our Easter guest, and then eating all the delicious food DH made. I'm almost glad to be back to work today! (almost) ;) DH got an Easter card for Project 52 Cards, Week 17:

Monday
Less than one week to Easter, less than two weeks to my mom's visit... and I have so many things I'd like to get done before then!! First of all get the guest room tidied up (=move all my craft supplies out of the way...), then catch up on some of my P365... Luckily, I have at least 4 or 5 weeks' worth of P52 Cards done already, so if I can force myself not to do any hybrid for the next few days, I should have quite some time on my hands to get the other stuff done. :) I gave DH one of the monkey cards yesterday. ;)
You can see the Week 16 card here.
I am waiting to hear about three important things today, 2 work related and 1 scrap related. I hope to hear some good news soon! Hearing bad news on a Monday is a sure killer. :) Have a great week!

So Many Projects, So Little Time
I never seem to post these on time, but I have been doing very well in my Project 52 Cards. So here's the past three weeks.
You can see the Week 11 card here. I made a thank you card because DH organized the perfect romantic weekend: gorgeous hotel, spa, shopping spree, and even a totally unexpected gift (a necklace)! It was just lovely!
For last week, I made him a Bunny Spring card. Actually, we were at the grocery store and he was about to buy an expensive card to send to a friend of his, so I told him I'd make one instead. I asked him what to put on it, and he said he wanted bunnies - which worked out just right because I was using a bunny kit on another project. I told him I needed a sentiment so he picked one. And then of course after making a flat version to be mailed to his friend, I also made a prettier one (i.e., dimensional) for DH. :)
You can see the Week 12 card here. It was my first time making an accordion flower. I love how this looks, but it was a bit of a pain to put it together, since I don't own a glue gun. So I made do with glossy accents, and lots of patience. :) But it turned out really cute!
Finally, I gave him this week's card last night when he came back home after a 3 day trip.
You can see the Week 13 card here. I am in love with this little card!
Being all caught up with this P52 Cards project makes me feel even worse about my P365. I only have 8 weeks scrapped so far, so this means I have 4 weeks plus the current one still to scrap. I really need to make this a priority, or I'll never catch up!
