I have been super busy for the past 8 weeks or so, and have not been taking many pictures at all. But last weekend we went out for a bit to enjoy the pretty winter scenery, and I am glad we got a few good shots, including this one.

New Printer!

Hello and happy weekend! I have a busy weekend ahead, with lots of work I need to get done, and some play - I got myself a new printer! :) But first, I want to share with you a couple of pages I made with some awesome new releases.

First up, a collection by Mari Koegelenberg that is super trendy, with the planner craze that has taken over the scrapbooking world!

I have not quite jumped in on the planner wave myself, but I have to say that laying out the month like this really inspired me. Who knows.. I may give this a go!

Next up, a bright, happy kit and journaling cards by Sahlin Studio:

I used this to make a hybrid page. I did this before my new printer arrived so I had to be creative using colors that my old printer would print (yellow was safe ;)).

Hey Pumpkin

Hello hello! As we are gearing up for DSD (Digital Scrapbooking Day) that is this Saturday, I will have lots of pages to share with the new releases over the next couple of days. To start the party, there's this new collab by Mari Koegelenberg and Sugarplum Paperie.

It was perfect to scrap my favorite of the photos from the pumpkin patch.. and one of my favorite photos ever!!

I wanted to keep the photo big, so I just created a design that showcases the lovely papers in the kit. While the kit is Halloween-themed, as you can see it works very well for fall photos as well.

Mari Koegelenberg Is Back!!

I apologize for the absence on my blog.. I actually was on vacation for two weeks (yay!) and had a lovely time, but I am glad to be back to my craft room now. :)

Something really exciting happened while I was gone.. Mari Koegelenberg opened up a new digital shop and is back to designing!! So so so happy to be playing with her designs once again! She has a gorgeous brand new collection that I love, aptly named Fresh Start.

I have been on Mari's creative team for over five years and I can't begin to express how grateful I am. She is such a lovely person and I am so glad to know her! Here's what I made with this gorgeous kit:

I was also super inspired by the gorgeous brushes included in this collection, and broke out my watercolors to make a card and some tags.

Black Friday

I'm a bit late in posting this, because Black Friday = putting up the tree for me! :) But there are some very sweet deals to be had online today! I'll start with a Christmas kit, since I am in Christmas mode now that the tree is up. :)

I don't really care for Halloween that much, other than as a chance to watch scary movies, but this year I do have a reason to look forward to it. So I did a non-Halloween page with this gorgeous kit. I am in love with the star and the ombre papers!

I used it to make this card.. I was thrilled with how well those gold splatters printed out on my Canon matte paper!!

 

I just added another touch of gold using glitter tape (I love that stuff)! Simple design, but I like how it turned out.

Day in the Life

Hello October! A new gallery is up on the write.click.scrapbook blog, and this month's theme is A Day in the Life. I feel I already do a decent job of documenting the small everyday things between my digi pages and Project Life, so I don't typically do these "a day in the life" or "a week in the life" projects. however, last month I started a new class schedule, so I thought it would be fun to use this inspiration to document it.
