Black Friday

I'm a bit late in posting this, because Black Friday = putting up the tree for me! :) But there are some very sweet deals to be had online today! I'll start with a Christmas kit, since I am in Christmas mode now that the tree is up. :)

One Month..

Actually, today it's one month minus one day to Christmas! I used this pretty kit by creashens that is 50% off today through Thursday to scrap the beginning of the season.

I used it to scrap a couple of snapshots of my December Daily preparations. (I haven't done much at all, I just pulled out my Christmas supplies basically. :) )

More December Daily preparation

I have a couple more cards to share for my December Daily album. These are from a gorgeous Christmas collection by two of my favorite designers ever (isn't it just awesome when they team up?? ;)), Mari Koegelenberg and Jenn Barrette.

DYD 2013

As I promised, here is what I have put together so far for this year's December Daily album using the Document Your December products at The Lilypad.

Truth be told, I have an excess of Christmas paper products already, but as soon as I saw these digital cards I knew I had to get them printed out and into my album. They are just too cute not to use!

This year I will make things simple and use a pocket page album. A Handbook album by Studio Calico to be exact. I won't be premaking pages, but I did steal a few photos from last year's album to show how these cards will look like in the album. :)

We have already gotten snow this year so I'm hoping in a whiter Christmas than we had last year.

I always love including a calendar card towards the beginning of my album.

The colors of this collection are so much fun!

These cards may very well be my favorites of the bunch.. although it's hard to pick a favorite! :)

This definitely gets me even more in the mood for Christmas! Only a little over two weeks to December now..

Document Your December

The new Document Your December (DYD) releases at The Lilypad have gotten me in the mood for Christmas! I have an exam tomorrow morning, so I have to keep this post short and sweet.. but I will be back tomorrow evening to show you the first printed bits for my 2013 December Daily album. :) In the meantime, check out the DYD section in the store, and here's a digi page I made.

I'm back! I was out all week for a conference and it is so good to be home! After catching up on some much needed sleep, I scrapped! And today is the last day to grab this awesome bundle at Digital Design Essentials:

Hello, November

The theme for the November gallery at write.click.scrapbook is Dreaming. I let myself embrace the Christmas spirit and made this page, Dreaming of a White Christmas.

But rather than just a white Christmas - even though I firmly believe that snow must be had at Christmas!! - I am dreaming of spending the holidays with my family. It's not going to happen - yet again - this year, and it makes me sad..

Here are a few detail shots.

I added some watercolors behind the white alpha to make it stand out. :)
