The color scheme for this week came together quite naturally. I knew I wanted to use the grey card with the phone sketch from the Studio Calico Project Life kit, because I had a story that was perfect to go with it. So I dug into my stash of 6x6 papers, and found this lovely background from the Studio Calico 34th Street card kit that went so well with it - enter yellow. The green (or whatever that color is ;)) was determined by the big "2" card from the kit.

So for the rest of the spread, I picked cards from the kit in the same green tone, and added some papers in green and yellow from my favorite Studio Calico Heyday line. I did some stamping in grey on the right page to tie it all together. It worked out perfectly!

I used more papers from the Studio Calico Heyday 6x6 paper pad on the right page. I had lots of fun digging into my stash to find embellishments that went well with these colors. OK, here are some details. :)
The stamp is from a retired set by Studio Calico. Plus I used the Smash date stamp. I use this pen for journaling.
These cards come from the kit. I added some letters from a Basic Grey alpha, plus a cut out made with my Silhouette. Love love love these alphas for Project Life.
The banner sticker is from the Studio Calico Heyday stickers, and I stamped on it with one of the stamps from the kit. The other stamp ("freshly made" is by TPC Studio.
Some more stamps, cards and a label from the kit, plus a star from the Studio Calico Heyday stickers and an enamel dot by My Mind's eye.
Stamps from the kit and from a class kit, using Prima chalk ink. That star sticker is from part of the packaging of the October Afternoon Midway word stickers. :) (one of the actual stickers is used in a pocket above - "good eatin'").
And guess what?? The "open me" card opens up (no kidding! ;)).
This is probably my favorite card of the entire spread. I made a mask using the Martha Stewart all over the page star punch, and misted with Studio Calico Mr. Huey Dewey, which happened to match the green perfectly. :) I also stamped some letters from the Stepping Stone alpha using the mist. To finish, I added some stamping with Prima chalk ink.
The background of the bottom pocket is repurposed packaging! It was the backing of a stamp set by Studio Calico - I knew I'd been holding on to it for a reason! The tag is from Elle's Studio The Sweet Life cutouts.
My go to black ink for stamping: Ranger archival ink jet black.

Wow, I love the color scheme! Very calm. I am new to PL and first two weeks are not really following color scheme (yet!).
Kind regards from Germany,
Alex
Hi sorry, which kit did you use? I was looking for the card with that number two and I do not know where I can find it...thanks!
I used the Studio Calico Project Life kit as mentioned in the post.
