The theme for this week is red + green - inspired by 2 washi tapes. I used the Studio Calico Front Row Project Life kit (that's where the red washi tape comes from; the green one is from Etsy seller In the Clear), plus a few other bits and pieces (see below for details). I also used some 4x6 grid cards by Becky Higgins (some cut down to 4x4 to fit in the square pockets).
This week the photo sleeves I used are all by We R Memory Keepers: the 9 4"x4" square slots for the left page, and the 6"x4" and 4"x4" combination for the right page. I love to use those square pockets for instagram photos - either left full pocket, or made smaller to add journaling and embellishments.
In the blocked out part I have one 4x4 pocket about some local events, and another 4x4 pocket in memory of a friend of my parents who recently passed away.
This is the card that inspired the colors for this week. I cut out the 4 from a lovely Studio Calico paper (Temple from the Darling Dear collection). It's backed on yellow cardstock (from Week 3) and I covered the edges with washi tape. The letters are from Mini Market alpha sticky keys by October Afternoon.
This card is from the 9 To 5 Miscellany (October Afternoon). The green bubble is from an old Studio Calico sticky pad. I used the Smash date stamp.
I kept embellishing to a minimum this week. Washi and some stitching goes a long way! :)
I used an old Studio Calico sticky pad in this pocket.
The sticker from the October Afternoon Midway word stickers was perfect to document this win! :)
Here I used the American Crafts Christmas date stamp.
I inked a Studio Calico wood veneer with green ink, the misted with glimmer mist to add some shine.
Some fun title work and an arrow cut out with the Silhouette Cutter. The paper is from the Kringle & Co. 6x6 paper pad by American Crafts.
Alpha stamps + Thicker letters (American Crafts Kringle).
I used a printable from the Day by Day class at Studio Salico as a journaling spot on this card. The photo collage template is by Designs by Lili.
